Minutes of Meeting
February 11, 2014

Meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm with eleven (11) members present.

Secretary’s report was read.  Roger Hall made motion to accept.  Motion seconded by Sandy Conti.  Motion carried.

Treasurer’s report was read.  Jeff Parker made motion to accept.  Motion seconded by Derek Pryce.  Motion carried.

County News, by Sandy Woodbeck:
Board voted to freeze 5-year grooming average.
Early bird same as last year, 15,700.
Registrations up slightly.
Two bills through legislature; one deals with law enforcement money left over (use to replace their sleds), and the second deals with TMA’s renewal on line.  Law states if stopped, you have to have stickers on sled.  Change law to print out slip showing you paid.
Discussion on clubs grooming when they shouldn’t be
Interactive map on website should be up and running.  GPS unit will be ready for next year.
Spring seminar is April 30, 2014.
East Orange Chicken Barbeque is February 22, 2014.
Walden Pancake Breakfast is February 16, 2014.

Trails Report, by Roger Hall:
Logging at Chris Pratt’s.
Some rolling and grooming done, but could use more snow.
Cleats almost gone; changed in 2010.
120 gallons of fuel.  Should order but hold off because oil is high right now.
Land owner in the Center wants more signs to stay on trail and slow down.
Marshfield Bailey Bridge has a post sticking up on bridge.  Sandy will call Marshfield president to check it out.

Website, Derek Pryce:
Website has been redesigned.

Discussion about a club circle ride in to get more people involved.  Post on website.  Another idea was to get together as a club and ride to a ride in.  Meet at a certain designation.  Maybe put on website.
