Minutes of Meeting
April 15, 2008

Meeting was called to order at 7:45 pm with eight (8) members present.

Secretary's report was read. Roger Hall made motion to accept. Motion seconded by Denny Gove. Motion carried.

Treasurer's report was read and accepted.

-Fuel subsidity discussed at board meeting, question if we?ll get it. $1.00 a mile.

VAST County:
-Nothing.
-Question pay on grooming over cap.
-May 22 ? construction seminar. Roger Hall and Sandy Woodbeck plan to attend.
-Good condition of East Montpelier trails compared to others were reported.

Trails report:
-Groomer 14 out of 16 weeks.
-Groomed 1645 miles, cap 1340 miles.
-All paper work in.
-834 gallons of fuel used this year. Approximately 250 gallons left in tank.
-Things to do this year: Pack wheel bearings, filters to change for spring maintenance, covert by Staudts, Colburn's covert.
-Trail work: trimming by Frost and off railroad bed, Bob Wright-cut fallen tree and remove stump, road crossing-fill at Richard Hall's and Foster Road.
-Apply for grant for VAST for Hell Hole.
-Covert by Beaver Pond at County Road.
-Revert trail at Bruce Fitch's to old way.
-Most stakes picked up.

New Business:
-Money items for summer: Dues - $12 leave it as is.
-Landowners ? leave at $15 at Wayside and three dealers.
-Four Corners School ? keep at $50.
-Approval to spend money for trail grants.
-Necessary groomer maintenance.
-Bill Parker gift certificate Wayside for keeping groomer.
-Tent storage for groomer. Bill Parker okay with it. Cost Northern Equipment and Tractor Supply 12'-20'x11' barn roof style. $649.99 plus shipping $150-180 door both ends total $858 plus tax. Discussion followed.
-Sandy Woodbeck made motion to accept the pre-proposals above. Motion seconded by Pat McKinstry. Motion carried.
-Election of Officers: President=Sandy Woodbeck, Vice President=Denny Gove, Secretary=Linda Hall, Treasurer=Henry Murray, Director=Jeff Parker, Trails Master=Roger Hall, Web Master=Derick Price. Peter Hill made motion to elect the above slate of officers. Motion seconded by Pat McKinstry. Motion carried.

Henry Murray made motion to adjourn. Motion seconded by Angela Woodbeck. Meeting adjourned at 8:45 pm.
